About Mya
Mya is Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a LAC. She is known for being very optimistic and enthusiastic while working with others. Mya graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and New Jersey City University with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her goal is to assist clients with gaining tools to cope and aid in advocating for mental health awareness in minority communities. Through the guiding therapy of REBT and integrating new modalities like Cognitive Processing Therapy and Compassion Focus Therapy, she challenge client's with care to achieve their goals. Mya has experience in research that examines the physiological, neurological, and psychotherapeutic aspects of psychology.
