About Rosa
My name is Rosa Curcia, and I entered the mental health field in 2000 after completing my MSW at Rutgers University. I have worked in a variety of treatment settings serving adults with both mental health and substance use disorders. I have 5 years of leadership experience as a Clinical Director working in PHP and IOP treatment programs, and I hold certifications in trauma care, DBT, and clinical supervision. I address a variety of challenges including mood and anxiety disorders, substance use disorders/addictions, relationship issues, trauma, and grief and loss. I also work with couples to help them work through relationship challenges such as infidelity, communication, and intimacy. As part of my work with clients struggling with substance use, I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ACT for addiction, helping individuals build psychological flexibility, clarify their values, and commit to meaningful behavior change. My primary goal is to provide a safe, encouraging, and nonjudgmental space where clients can process through their struggles and share their successes. I focus on helping clients to help themselves and support them as they build self-reliance to reach their fullest potential. Everyone needs someone in their corner, and I would be honored to hold that space for you on your journey to wellness!
