About Sara

Client would be an older adolescent (16–18) struggling with anxiety, relationship challenges, setting boundaries, and future planning. Their parent(s) are present, but there are disagreements about future plans, and they are not as involved or supportive as the student needs them to be. The client is struggling to identify the positive supports in their life and needs help learning how to recognize healthy relationships and reduce their anxiety. Their goals are to learn better coping skills, decrease negative thinking, set stronger boundaries, and improve communication skills. Supportive Therapy for depression can provide a safe and non-judgmental space to explore these challenges and build the tools needed for growth. Most of my experience over the past 3 years has centered around working with high school students directly in their school setting. I recognize the pressure they are under to perform well and the confusion students who are not interested in college can feel when trying to figure out what their future may look like. I understand how challenging this time in your life can be. You have a lot of ideas about your future, and maybe you aren't quite sure what the right path is for you. I also understand that your support systems, while important, can have a lot of opinions of their own that make these decisions even more difficult.
