About Sharon
Sharon is a compassionate and empathetic Licensed Associate Counselor. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University, and a Master of Arts in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from William Paterson University. Her passion includes helping children, teens, and adults navigate experiences of ADHD, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, and interpersonal conflicts. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in warmth, empathy, authenticity, and active listening, with a focus on building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship with clients. Sharon integrates evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) in her clinical practice. She believes that healing occurs within a safe, supportive space where clients can build resilience, deepen self-awareness, and foster meaningful growth.
