About Shirley
My name is Shirley Sanchez, and I am a therapist who supports women navigating life's transitions, including relationship changes, career shifts, motherhood, identity concerns, and times of feeling stuck or overwhelmed. I aim to provide a warm, supportive space where you can slow down, feel heard, and reconnect with yourself. I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and hold a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC). As a bilingual therapist (English/Spanish), I welcome Spanish-speaking clients and strive to create a space where you can express yourself in the language that feels most comfortable. I provide culturally aware and respectful care that honors each client's background and lived experience. I often work with women experiencing anxiety, stress, and life transitions who are balancing multiple roles and responsibilities. My goal is to offer a supportive, collaborative space where you feel understood and empowered to explore what you are going through at your own pace. My approach is warm, compassionate, and grounded in collaboration. I view therapy as a partnership focused on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and supporting meaningful, sustainable change. I believe therapy can help you gain clarity, process difficult experiences, and move through life transitions with greater confidence. You don't have to go through it alone.
